These terms cover your use of Pantry Plant Chef on iOS.
1. The service
The app helps you capture pantry ingredients, draft plant-based recipes with an optional cloud coach, and walk through cooking sessions. Features that need the network may be unavailable offline or when a provider is down.
2. Cloud coaching
Cloud coaching is optional. If you allow it, ingredient names (and any correction note you add) are sent to DeepSeek in China to draft a plan. You can revoke permission in Settings. MiniMax image/TTS paths are not live on this build.
3. Your content
You keep rights in photos and text you create. You grant us a limited licence to process that content on-device and, with consent, to send the text prompts described in the Privacy Policy so the coach can respond. Do not submit unlawful, infringing or others’ private data.
4. Acceptable use
Do not reverse-engineer the app beyond what the law allows, abuse the AI endpoints, or use the app to generate harmful instructions.
5. Availability and changes
We may modify or discontinue features. AI output can be wrong, repetitive or incomplete; always read the plan before you cook.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is”. We are not liable for cooking outcomes, spoiled food, allergic reactions or provider outages. Mandatory consumer rights in your country still apply.
7. App Store
Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies to download and billing. Apple is not responsible for maintenance or support of this app.
